I am the king of celebrity crushes.

Those of you who know me know that I have had so many celebrity crushes in my lifetime that it's hard to keep track of all of them. I'm not telling who my first celebrity crush was, but I think it may have been back when I was in first grade, so it wasn't that person that all you who know me are thinking of. I went through that period that all kids go through where they think the opposite sex is "icky," and then I had a celebrity crushes on classic TV stars in fifth, eighth, and the beginning of ninth grade.
In November 2002, I was shown a show that impacted me like none other. This show was on the Disney Channel, which I hadn't paid much attention to in years. When I saw it, I knew that the star of that show was the answer to all those people who told me to "get into the twenty-first century." The show was Lizzie McGuire, and the star was Hilary Duff. That led to many other celebrities, who were pretty much all on Disney Channel.
Over two years later, I was getting pretty tired of the Duffster. I needed someone new, but I didn't know who I could choose. I didn't want to just choose some random girl who I'd never seen in any movie or TV show, and I didn't want her to be obscure either. One of my friends showed me the movie Ella Enchanted, starring Anne Hathaway. After I finished watching that movie, I went and told everyone that Anne was the new Hilary.
Earlier this year, I had fallen in love with someone local; that is, a girl I actually knew and lived near. I had decided that, in order to win her love, I was going to have to ditch Anne and company. Within a week, all my pictures of them were recycled, all of my downloaded images were deleted, and my front binder image was torn up and thrown away. I thought it was the end of celebrities. Boy, was I wrong.
Last month, that girl I liked told me that she was dating someone else. She claimed that she had no recollection of ever telling me she was going to let me know when she was ready to date, which is exactly what she told me in June. So, I figured, as long as I don't go too "OCD" over them (as I like to call it) I can still like them and have them on my desktop. Since then, I've found two new people: Krystal Meyers (a Christian rock singer) and Anna Popplewell (who played Susan in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). I still like Anne Hathaway as well as Rebecca St. James, who I have liked for years and will like for years to come.
Maybe one day, I'll give up the celebrities for good. However, I'm still waiting for a good reason to do that, if you know what I mean.
Later!

Welcome, friends! This is my blog, "The House of Rebel." I will be posting more things later on, but for now, I'm just going to say "Hello" to all my friends. Hope you all are doing well.
